Chris UrenaGot 2 burgers (one was hot, one was cold when it got to the table), 2 sides (one was kinda warm and the other was also cold), 1 drink. Absolutely not worth $50. Both burgers were ordered medium, neither had any pink at all. The classic Stand burger had a really good flavor despite being cold and overcooked. The French onion soup burger (pictured) was interesting not only in description (red wine onions) but in presentation: it came out with an actual side of French onion soup! I figured it was supposed to be eaten like a French dip. Overall the flavor was alright, I kinda expected more based on the description. The sides I ordered were both small sizes, which from looking at the boats looked really small but luckily they packed them in well. The sweet potato fries are waffle cut and on the crispy side, flavor was average. Onion rings looked like what you get at nice restaurant rather than the basic fast food ones but they were ice cold so kinda hard to judge flavor. You order at the the counter and someone brings you the order to your table and says to let him know if you need anything else. Well the guy was running around picking up ppl's plates as soon as they lifted their burger for the last bites, or in one case that I saw, he didn't even wait. He picked up the plate of kid at the table next to ours with half the burger still on it, set it down on an empty table to collect plates from another group, and the kid went over and took his burger back. When he saw he said "oh you weren't done with that?" And srsly half a burger still there ofc he wasn't done with that. Anyway I tried getting his attention several times myself to ask for a box to take the sides home. When I finally was able to ask he said "okay give me a second," took some dirty plates to the back, came back out, walked by, pointed at our sides as he passed like if he was reminding himself to get the box, kept walking to the other end of the restaurant, walked back and the next table over asked for a box, he brought them a box right away, and then went to the back again. At that point I just went to the counter where I ordered to ask for a box. They ask for tip right when you order and between the cold food and the bad ...server? I wish I could get it refunded. I should also add that as I was walking by, I was across the street and it looked completely closed. I would've kept walking had I not seen someone else walk in. Smthg to look into although in retrospect I wish I had kept walking
Kat N.I actually had forgotten about the stand until my daughter had asked for it today with her build-your-own burger. I could not decide and was recommended the ABC burger. It had everything I had wanted with avocado slices. It was good, but the flavor wasn't there much. I ate half with their sweet potato fries, which was good; crispy and chewy at the same. I'll have to come back to try others on their wide selection menu. Don't forget their chocolate shake, few people were getting it so I had to try it out. It was good!! Made with fresh icecream!!
DEE PI have tried 3 burgers from here and they are all delicious. Chicken southwest, ABC and the egg burger. They all had different taste but very flavorful. Chili cheese fries are bomb.. can’t wait to come back..
Sanjay GThe food tastes amazing and fresh. This was my third time here, but my first time ordering takeout. The only disappointment was the way the wrap was packed in a burger box. As soon as I picked it up to take a bite, it started falling apart. It felt more like eating the tortilla and filling separately rather than enjoying it as a wrap. Overall, it’s still a good place for a quick bite. I’d recommend dining in for the best experience.
Queen B JulesRight in the heart of Pasadena. Service was good, casual vibes and good food. I got a burger and fries. The burger was really good, brioche bun super soft and yummy. Was kinda disappointed in the fries, they were cold and just ok. I just wasn't digging them. Loved the multiple choices of sauces to choose from and the side of pickles. Would definitely stop here again for a burger.
