Rayanna BeltranLATE REVIEW. Finding little neighborhood gems when it comes to food has always been an exciting experience for me. Having family alongside makes the journey more special. We chose Holy Saints to announce our baby's gender with our parents and we had an amazing time during our intimate dinner here. The restaurant's ambiance was the perfect combination of homey and inviting. It is a smaller place and the number of tables are limited so I highly suggest making a reservation when dining here. During our dinner, it was a bit difficult to have a full blown conversation as the place was packed with guests when we came plus the loud background music that was playing the whole night. Service and food were nothing but amazing! Their menu is very limited. Maybe not everyone will appreciate that, but I think it is more intentional on what is being served to the table. Our highlight of the night was the Grandpa's Pan Roasted Duck Magret Au Poivre for sure. It was so tender on the inside and crispy on the outer edges! We never had a meal like that elsewhere and we will for sure be back just because of it.
914WYHIt was one of THE BEST. We had the persimmon and berreta, duck breast and dessert for apple pie which was highly recommended by the sous chef. Other than the sauce of duck was on the salty side, the rest of meal was top the notch. We had 3 drinks of each of two of us (6 total), the selection was pleasant and safe. Def a place to be considered to return again. Yay! ********** We revisited after a week, and the experience completely threw us off — we almost walked right back out. We ordered the Caesar salad, mussel soup, and pumpkin risotto, and every single dish was overwhelmingly salty. The salad was the most shocking; we actually had to ask for an extra bowl and rinse the greens with drinking water just to make it edible. We informed the manager, who said she would let the chef know, but unfortunately the food remained so salty that it numbed our taste buds. Because of that, we decided not to proceed with any entrées or desserts. Compared to our first visit — when we enjoyed six glasses of alcoholic grape juice — this second experience was the complete opposite. Truly disappointing and downright horrible.
wook kimDecided to venture off and try something new. Randomly discovered Holy Saints. Quaint little restaurant with a bistro vibe. Open kitchen layout which makes the atmosphere feel more vibrant. The service was outstanding, from the moment we were greeted to the moment we were leaving. And the hospitality extended to the great gentleman who cleared our dishes and refilled our water. The food was all very delicious with the spaghetti being nice and meaty. Next time I would order the bread the soak up the delicious sauce!
Tracey DThis place!!! We only stopped for a drink and a quick snack because we wanted to check out other places too, but we almost ended up staying here it was such a good experience! The tuna crudo was unique, delicious and super fresh. Our server Stephanie was soooo friendly and helpful. The ambience was chill, unassuming and understated. The food was surprising and impressive. This place is the epitome of all the things a restaurant should be. We'll definitely be back mercy time we are in the area! 100 out of 10!!!
Aimee Wilkins@holysaintsbistro is a gem in the wall. The quality of food coming out of their cozy, small kitchen is superb. Kudos to the chefs behind the line. I had the duck breast and lamb steak, and both were spectacular. The sauce the lamb was served with gave it just the slightest edge over the duck. The only item that did not impress was the yellowfin tuna appetizer. It was smothered in seasoning that diminished any flavor of the fish and completely overpowered it. Besides that, my dinner was exquisite.
