Fishwives was an amazing night out on our trip to Pasadena. The place was very cute and not overwhelming. Our waitress was very kind and supe helpful, and she made accommodations for us both in our meal and with one of our party who has a temporary disability. The food was AMAZING! We started with the House Pickles which were not only delicious but unique with a few pickled fruits and vegetables. The fish and chips was an ample serving of fresh fish with great fries. Would definitely recommend!

Had a great time here. Sat at the bar bhad oysters, shrimp and the clam chowder. And a side of the house pickles!!! They had one of my favorite porters that paired perfectly with the soup. Service was fantastic. Thank you Adrian!! I'll be back!

Great service and great seafood! Oysters are surprisingly soooo good😭😭 it tasted so fresh. I also tasted really good umami. We ended up ordering more oysters. Clam chowder was on point! Clams are so plum and fresh as well… I regret that I didn’t come here with an empty stomach! Everything looks great. I can’t wait for the next time.

We ordered a House Oyster Sampler to share, it's 3 of each, total of a dozen. I tasted ocean in the oyster 🦪😋 very fresh. We had fun at the place.

I had the pleasure of visiting Fishwives in downtown Pasadena while attending a concert, and the experience was simply outstanding. As someone who always seeks out fresh seafood, especially with a South American influence, I was absolutely delighted by the quality of the dishes. In particular, I tried the “Peruvian seashells,” and the freshness and flavor were exceptional. It’s rare to find seafood of such high quality, and Fish Wife truly excels at it. The ambiance is very welcoming, and the service was top-notch. However, I did notice that the bartender could have had a bit more knowledge about the local craft beers, which was a slight letdown. Overall, it’s a place I would highly recommend to any seafood lover.
