This is from Sept so a while back. We came here for a late lunch and drinks and the food was excellent. Services matched the food with excellence. We were served by Giovanna, Jorge and Mary. Why by so many? We came for a late lunch and since we were waiting for Oasis concert, we decided to stay on for drinks and eventually move to their bar area. Very happy. It was my first time having cactus that was so delicious. I've had it before (probably at resorts) and was never impressed by it. Here, very much impressed. I can't remember the name of the food but was recommended as something that is quite traditional. And that's what we wanted to try.

Great location, walking distance from my hotel. Family restaurant with a small bar. Traditional music playing, very comfortable. Food is amazing. I got the chicken enchiladas with a red sauce. The red rice is light and fluffy, and compliments the enchiladas well. The red sauce is amazing and packed with flavor. Service was polite and accommodating. Prices are fair. I definitely recommend this place and the dish I ordered:)

We were actually walking to another restaurant when we noticed Anaya's. We checked out the reviews, saw that it looked good online, so we decided to go in. It ended up being some of the most amazing Mexican food we’ve ever had in Pasadena. We’re vegetarians, and they had tons of great options for us. Everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and healthy. We’re very picky, and we all loved it. The drinks were great as well, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. They also have an excellent happy hour, although we got there a little too late for it this time. Highly recommend. We will definitely be going back again!

At first glance, the restaurant is beautiful. The ambience of the restaurant was great, a beautiful blend of traditional Mexican decore with modern Mexican American art sprinkled throughout. I got the tequila pasta and my husband got the gobernador burrito; both were delicious. The food was so flavorful and well portioned. Finally, the service was great. Our server was friendly, attentive and prompt. He even packaged us up some complementary chips and salsa at the end of the meal because we enjoyed the salsa so much. It's rare to find a place that it great all the way around and this place here is one of those rare places.

Great experience at Anaya’s Restaurant. All the staff were friendly, helpful and polite. We were able to met one of the owners, Manuel, which was the perfect host to us. The food was delicious and the beers cold. Great selection of tequilas. Awesome place to follow sports games, chill with friends or for a date in the most reserved area. Wait for my return Manuel!
