My family and I frequent a lot of Mediterranean/Middle Eastern restaurants, whether it's a sit down restaurant or takeout--and Sahara might just be the best we've ever had! We heard good things about Sahara and decided to check it out yesterday; and it exceeded expectations. I had the beef kebab plate, while my mom and brother had the chicken kebab plate. We loved how they had complimentary snacks (olives, cheese, and cucumber) and also that the plate came with either soup or salad. The meat dishes were so flavorful and honestly the best we've had at any restaurant. They gave a lot of meat too; 8 pieces for each dish. The baba ghanoush was also great. Last but not least, Mary, our server, was extremely pleasant and attentive. We can't wait to go back!

Great place for delicious and authentic Mediterranean food. They have lunch plates that come with rice, hummus, and salad, and you get to choose the type of kebab meat. The beef was very juicy and tender. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, treating everyone like family. You order at the counter and they bring the food out to you.

This evening( 5/16/2024), our church community gathered at Sahara Middle Eastern Cuisine for a group dinner, and the experience was exceptional. As we settled into the cozy ambiance, we started our culinary journey with an array of sides. The hummus, paired with pita breads, was creamy and rich in flavor, setting a high bar for what was to come. The tabbouleh was a refreshing medley of finely chopped parsley, tomatoes, and bulgur, dressed in zesty lemon juice and olive oil—a true testament to the freshness of the ingredients. The cabbage salad was another standout, offering a crisp and tangy complement to the meal. While the pita bread could have been served hot to elevate the starters even further, this was a minor note in an otherwise flawless symphony of flavors. The main course was a showcase of the restaurant’s mastery over meat. The beef kabobs were succulent and perfectly seasoned, each bite transporting us to the heart of Mediterranean cuisine. The chicken and lamb kabob platter was equally impressive, with the meats being tender, juicy, and infused with an array of spices that spoke to the experienced palate of the chefs. Service throughout the evening was prompt and courteous, with the staff ensuring our dining experience was comfortable and enjoyable. Although the parking lot is small but I feel it should be plenty as the restaurant is not that big. It’s worth noting that the prices are on the higher side, but for the authentic flavors and generous portions, it felt justified. Sahara Middle Eastern Cuisine is worthy to be put on your restaurant to try list.

I had a really great experience here. The food was delicious, everything tasted fresh and well made. But what stood out the most was the hospitality. Everyone was incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuinely made me feel appreciated as a customer. It’s rare to find places where both the food and the service are this good. You can tell they really care about their customers and the experience they provide. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending this place to friends. Thank you for the great meal and the warm service!

All three sisters including the cooks make you feel like a superstar/family when you walk in. Greet you with a smile and take your order super fast. I can recommend everything on the menu but the Sahara combo with chicken and Lula is the way to go. I get rice, babaganoush, and fries as my sides. Everything is fresh, delicious and full of flavors. This is our go to place for lunch when we are in the mood for Armenian/Mediterranean food. I will always be back ! Just give it a try you will be hooked !
