Their tires pop like balloons. I have been a customer of Discount Tire and Service Centers in Pasadena for approximately five years and have brought multiple vehicles here because their prices are usually lower than competitors and they are open on Sundays. Unfortunately, my experience with this location has steadily declined. The biggest issue is customer service. During my most recent visit, an employee named Nick argued with me in front of a line of customers, which I found highly unprofessional and embarrassing. Instead of addressing my concerns respectfully, he chose to be confrontational in a public setting. No customer should be treated that way. Communication at this location is consistently poor. Customers are told one thing and then something entirely different happens. I have repeatedly been given completion estimates of around 20 minutes, only to end up waiting an hour or more. The staff rarely provides updates, leaving customers sitting and wondering what is going on. I have also had ongoing issues with the quality of the tire service. Over the years, I have had to return multiple times for tire-related problems, adjustments, and corrections that should have been handled properly the first time. The repeated need for follow-up visits has been frustrating and has caused me to lose confidence in the workmanship at this location. The store appears chronically understaffed, which may explain some of the delays, but it does not excuse rude behavior, poor communication, or argumentative interactions with customers. Being one of the few places open on Sundays may bring in a lot of business, but customers still deserve to be treated with respect. After five years of bringing multiple vehicles to this shop, I am extremely disappointed. The combination of long wait times, recurring service issues, poor communication, and being publicly argued with by an employee has left me unable to recommend this business to others. Customer service here is virtually non-existent, and management should take a serious look at how customers are being treated.

These guys are top notch in every way! I will never go to another tire place in my life. They are so kind, professional, quick and honest. I just cannot say enough. Thank you guys. They will rotate, repair and sell you good tires and never seem like they are being dishonest. I have been there several times And every time has been an incredible experience. Highly recommend!

I’ve been going to this location for more than 3 years and they’ve always provided excellent and friendly service! Nick was especially helpful this time around in making sure the car was safe to drive a long distance and the tires were properly aligned and rotated. I got two rear tires for SLK here with great services and amazing price a few months ago. Unfortunately I got a flat tire caused by a nail. Other shops could not patch it so I came back here to replace the tire with their tire protection plan. I was informed it could be patched so that I did not need to pay the deductible for replacement. They are honest!
