I ordered the red pumpkin chicken curry (unique menu item), steamed chicken dumplings, Thai tea. The quality and quantity was 10/10, flavor was great, service was quick, and decent pricing. And the rice was shaped like a flower, so cute! This restaurant is near vroman’s bookstore- fun lunch or dinner spot after checking out some books or running errands at target across the street.

I order the lunch special which is the chicken chili. It came with egg rolls, rice n side of salad. The egg rolls taste just okay. It didn’t have much flavors to me. I really liked the salad n the chicken chili. However I felt like half way through my chicken chili dish, the flavor was too much, so I order extra side of rice. I mix the rice n chicken together. Bam! Best combo. It was really good that I finished the whole thing! Next I order I forgot some type of noodle dish. It look kinda unpleasant but taste wise it was not bad. I wanted to mix it with hot sauce but they never bring it to me. Finally I order to mango sticky rice. Since I haven’t got that dessert so long I decided to order it today. The sticky rice tastes good. The mango is soft but felt it didn’t have enough flavors. Like I felt it could have been better but maybe cuz I accidentally burn my mouth a bit with egg rolls maybe that’s why. Overall the food is delicious. The service was pretty good. The lady check up on how I was doing. I was sitting outside which is little bit chilly. It was packed during lunch time. I spend around close to $50 total cuz I wanted to try these 3 dishes plus the extra rice.

Ordered take out. Pads see u noodles. Asked for medium spicy and it was one of the best medium spicy I’ve ever had. Lots of beef just perfect noodles. I’ve had Thai food all over Los Angeles. Some of the best restaurants ever and this is one of them! Thank you

My favorite Thai spot in Pasadena. The service is great, the atmosphere is nice, and the food is incredible. I cannot get over their green papaya salad, it's simply one of the best dishes I've ever tasted. I'll also add: as someone who is intolerant to garlic and onion, it's incredibly difficult to find asian restaurants that will accommodate my dietary restrictions, and Nine & Nine does. They've got my loyalty for as long as they're around!

Upon visiting Nine and Nine Thai Kitchen in Pasadena, we were immediately charmed by its cozy atmosphere and the warm welcome from its staff. The decor, featuring Thai photographs and a distinctive TuTu taxi at the entrance, added to the restaurant’s unique allure. The lunch special, a flavorful Chicken Yellow Curry, was a delightful treat for just $10, accompanied by rice and salad. The Pad Thai, priced at $12, offered a generous portion of authentically Thai, chewy noodles that were slightly wet but deliciously seasoned. In conclusion, Nine and Nine Thai Kitchen delivered an exceptional dining experience with its friendly service and authentic Thai flavors. It’s clear why our friends recommended this place, and it’s with pleasure that I share this positive review. A visit to Nine and Nine is highly recommended for anyone in search of genuine Thai cuisine in Pasadena.
