Such a sad experience at a store I love so much. Leaving this review in hopes that this kind of practice and interaction can be addressed. Have been going to Paper Source consistently since moving to Old Town Pasadena in 2023, and it’s become a favorite for cards and gifts, for myself and for others. Today, found out the head trainer at a local business was having their last day, so popped in for a farewell gift and spent $62. Purchased a bag for $.10, and when asking for one piece of paper to put at the top to make it look like a gift, the cashier said that paper is only used for wrapping glassware. Explained that this was for someone really important to the community and asked if I could just have one sheet of plain paper. She said no, but that I could buy a pack of tissue paper instead. If it’s free to wrap things, it couldn’t hurt to give one sheet to me after spending $62. That kind of hospitality isn’t about the money. It’s about the principle of being denied a single sheet of plain paper and told to buy an entire pack instead. After visiting the store over 20 times, this will certainly be the last.

Fantastic place to meet most of your stationery needs! They have planner/journal supplies here... who knew? I love their gift wrapping paper too. They carry: MT Washi tape Wooden rubber stamps (not a huge selection and none of the cute Japanese style either) Stencils to be used in your planner Markers, Pens - Tombow, Sailer, Uniball, Micron, Mildliner etc. Friendly service at the counter and like most Paper Source locations they have a plethora of gift items to choose from. Located on the West end of Colorado Blvd. Respectfully Reviewed.

Love this place. They have a lot of journal stuff, cute self-care items, wrapping papers and various greeting cards. I feel like a kid in a candy store.

I love this place! Beautiful products, clean, inviting storefront and wonderful, helpful people working there. It’s been quite some time since my last visit but the most wonderful employees helped me in purchasing thick, luxury wrapping paper that I actually ended up using to line my vanity and night stand drawers (after initially intending to line a bookshelf with them, but that didn’t work out) I completed the project about 3 months ago, and it’s holding up wonderfully. Definitely a great store I recommend checking out when shopping on Colorado Blvd.

I’ve never been into a boutique paper store before, but I was really impressed with everything! First of all the selection was amazing – I had no idea there were so many different kinds and colors of paper floating around there. The store layout was awesome too. Lots of examples and craft projects done highlighting the different things you can do with the products they sell.
