This store is one of the most amazing places that you can visit in Pasadena. If you love collectibles, vintage toys, board games, cards, etc. You'll find all types to find here. Staff here is great. They're friendly and very informative which is always a nice sight to see for newcomers. In the back, you'll find many tables where people visit to play all types of games. Ranging from board games, cards, DnD, and list goes on. Best part is that you can try all types of games for free. My wife and I visited with some friends and we had such a wonderful time playing board games. Time flew by so fast as we were all having fun. I'd say the tables could use some cleaning but very spacious overall. Parking is out in the back but it's pretty limited. Street parking is also available but watch out for time slots. Overall, very happy about Odyssey Games, very much a must visit spot if you love board games. Place can get packed as you'll often find plenty of people here. Love to visit again soon to try new board games.

We love Odyssey Games! My son is a huge MTG fan/player so I always stop by anytime I’m shopping for gifts for him or if I’m looking for unique board game ideas for the fam. I’m always so impressed by how massive the store is - you wouldn’t know it from the outside. They have tons of selection of games and accessories, as well as figurine kits and tools/paint etc. They have a large section of Warhammer items (another of my son’s faves). They have a lot of MTG packs and a decent sized case of specialty MTG cards as well as a “dollar binder” of other select MTG cards that my son loved browsing through. And I just love the way the store is decorated - it’s such a vibe!! Total fantasy immersion to get you in the gaming mood. They have a massive play area in the back where you can privately game with your own group - or attend one of their many events or tournaments. There’s a calendar up on the wall near the play area that lists the current month’s events - there’s always something fun going on! Staff are enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and so welcoming. Prices are decent for the area - pretty much as you’d expect. Parking is free - there’s a (very) small/tight lot behind the store but lots of free street parking in the surrounding area and it’s very walkable and handicap accessible.

★☆☆☆☆ If you're looking for a place to play games, meet other players, or browse board games, Odyssey Games has a lot to offer. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend them for sealed trading card products. In my experience, many sealed Pokémon, Magic, and other TCG products are priced at or near secondary-market reseller prices rather than MSRP. It's disappointing to see a local game store receive product through distribution and then charge prices comparable to what scalpers and online resellers are asking. The result is that new players, families, and casual collectors face an even higher barrier to entry into these hobbies. Local game stores should be helping grow the community, not contributing to the problem. My other concern is customer service. With the exception of one newish male staff member and one newish female staff member, many of my interactions with staff have felt unwelcoming. Rather than feeling valued as a customer, I've often been left with the impression that asking questions or seeking assistance was an inconvenience. Whether intentional or not, the atmosphere can come across as elitist and unapproachable, especially for newcomers. I appreciate the play space and community aspects of the store, but I recommend purchasing sealed TCG products elsewhere and supporting retailers that offer fairer pricing.

Great independent local game store with a huge collection of different games for sale from table top to trading card games and everything in between. They also host very welcoming game nights, tournaments, and other programming. They have a huge section with over a dozen large tables for all sorts of clay. They even have separate rooms that gamers can reserve. Plus, they sell secondhand games, which is a rare boon.

When it comes to table top gaming this place is the best store that I have ever seen. On the front it says they have 1000 games. I believe them! They have nights dedicated to Magic the Gathering, Pokemon, Dungeons and Dragons and many other games. They have a large community of customers so you are bound to make new gaming friends.
