I was there a year before. They gave me 15% off even though I went to MIT. But tax in Pasadena was like 10%. Oh well. Kids were as nerdy as ever. Fun stuffs everywhere. I bought a keychain and a hoodie. I like orange hence I love CalTech clothing. Even got a magnet for my car (orange beaver lol). Also got a card holder for my mobile phone. I don't like the new Sans-serif font, but they may become collectibles. Congratulations to #2 Engineering School in the world (#1 is MIT)

Soy Watt

Went here in the 1990s to poke around and see what makes it so unique. The calculus book was surprisingly bareboned because it seemed under a 100 pages and in black and white not 3" thick and weighing 9 pounds like many other places. I think I bought some organic chemistry flash cards here should have bought the Molecular Model Kit too but was feeling too cheap to get it.

It’s a pretty meh store, you know, just like a store you go in and say OK and you will think that it is missing something. Don’t need to come back anymore. (I got the pennant collection already!)

Overall good store - needs more options in clothing especially for female customers. A few decent options for kids — but it left something to be desired !
