Julius MarzukiTried this spot for the first time and it’s an absolute keeper for the regular rotation. Spicy Creamy Tonkotsu Ramen: The soup was incredibly thick, rich, and flavorful without feeling overly greasy. They use a unique chili that has an awesome, bright depth to it—very similar to an Asian sambal flavor rather than just a basic chili oil. The Noodles: I ordered the medium-size noodles, and they were served perfectly firm (katamen style) with a delicious chew that held up beautifully to the heavy broth. Yakitori: Do not skip the skewers here! The absolute highlight was the chicken breast meat with plum and shiso. Lean chicken breast can easily dry out on a grill, but this was executed perfectly. The tart, salty punch of the plum paste combined with the bright, minty lift of the shiso leaf completely transformed the meat. Excellent execution on both the ramen and the izakaya-style bites. Will definitely be back!
True & better“I love Torigoya in downtown Little Tokyo for their yakitori, but I recently found this spot much closer to home—and in my opinion, it’s even better than average (though some people might not agree). The yakitori is fresh, perfectly grilled, and you can tell the Japanese chef really knows his stuff over the charcoal. The ramen was solid and flavorful too. Servers were super nice and attentive—we enjoyed everything a lot. I’m so glad a legit, high-quality yakitori place opened in the neighborhood. Only wish: they’d offer ginger and wasabi on the side.
Michelle De MesaCame here 6/20/26 for lunch on a Saturday no wait. Ordered their tonkatsu ramen, butter ramen and skewers. The food is amazing! The broth on the ramen is so flavorful, not oily, not salty, just a perfect bowl of ramen! I can’t wait to go back and try the chicken ramen and mazesoba. Service was fantastic! Mostly ordered on a tablet and the waitress process the order.
Victoria SandovalGreat place to eat! Everything was absolutely delicious. Service was outstanding! Will definitely go back soon
Ashleigh ChiltonFriendly staff, excellent food and service. Great house sake. I highly recommend.
