I went today for an oil change, and from the moment I arrived until the time I left, the service was perfect. Everyone was respectful, professional, and very mindful that I had an appointment. David got started right away and completed the work efficiently. Once my car was done, they answered all of my questions thoroughly. I didn’t get all the work done the today, but I will definitely be coming back for more services. Thank you all for your help

We were traveling back home from a wedding, out of state, when our van suddenly lit up like a Christmas tree. Mad inconvenient. But the entire Pep Boys team at was outstanding. Professional, welcoming, and genuinely understanding of our situation. They even went the extra mile to recommend local spots while we waited. Most importantly, they diagnosed the issue and gave it to us straight no runaround, no pressure. Top-notch customer service when we needed it most. They did everything they could to help with a bad situation. I highly recommend! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Very disappointing experience. I scheduled an appointment for 4 new tires and an alignment. They told me it would take around 2 hours. After 2.5 hours I returned to the shop and they hadn’t even started on my car. Upon my return they told me they could start it “right now” asking me to wait for another 1.5 hours. When I told them I didn’t have more time and that I would need to take it somewhere else on another day they told me “everywhere else will be like this” instead of offering an apology or anything to remedy my wasted time. The next place I called gave me a smaller appointment window and scheduled me right away, so I won’t be returning here. I wouldn’t recommend this shop unless you want to spend over four hours waiting along with not being kept updated on the progress of your vehicle. A very unpleasant experience.

Came in to fix a nail in my tire and get oil replaced. Had to get a new tire, no big deal. Guy says 90 minutes, calls me an hour in and says 45 minutes. I come back, wait another 75 minutes, and I'm told they drained my transmission instead of my oil. They say another 90 minutes. Come back 90 minutes later and it's gonna be another 30. What should have been a 90 minute service with an appointment turned into me wandering around the neighborhood and sitting in their hot waiting room for 5 hours. Would've just gotten an Uber if they had given me an honest estimation and I would've been home after 3 if they hadn't found a way to mess up an oil change.

I brought my car to Pep Boys in December to change my headlight, fast forward to March, my headlight burns out again. I bring it back to Pep Boys. They inform me that I would have to pay for the replacement because there is only a 30 day guarantee on the headlights. At this stage, I’m pretty sure it’s an electrical problem so I ask them to double check if it’s the same headlight as last time before I pay to replace it when I might need to check the electrical system as well. “Can’t confirm, the technician didn’t leave a note as to which headlight we changed last time.” The wild incompetence is so astounding. I left and will find another mechanic. If they can’t do something as basic as that, why would I trust them with anything else? I had been taking my car there for years for everything from oil changes to new brakes, but oh well.
