ELSIE LU❄️ Cozy little hot pot spot in Pasadena! Came for weekend lunch — busy but worth it. 🍲 Miso broth was super flavorful (try the spicy one if you like heat!). My kid loved the tomato broth — surprisingly rich and tasty. 🥩 Great meat options — multiple cuts of beef, plus lamb, chicken & seafood. Each set comes with rice + a big veggie plate 🥬🍄🥕🍠🍜 Perfect for chilly days — warm, delicious & great value! 💯
AC9Thank you for having me! The servers were super attentive and nice and the vibes here were great. Loved the K-pop music. Me and my grandma got their green tea ($2 each), appetizer sampler ($9.50), baked salmon roll ($6.50), vintage prime rib eye beef ($28.50), angus prime beef ($22.75), and churros ($4.50). My grandma got their tomato broth and liked it. I got their sukiyaki which tasted like sweet teriyaki. Didn’t quite agree with me. The meats were really good though. Very tender and high quality, even better dipped in the dipping sauces that come with each set.
Shuang LiWent to check out Oseyo in Pasadena over the weekend and had such a great experience! Super satisfying and definitely a spot I’d recommend for shabu shabu lovers. Ordering is simple – each set comes with broth, a veggie platter, udon, and rice. We chose the kombu broth, which was light and perfect for highlighting the meat. The dipping sauces were Ponzu (refreshing and tangy) and Goma (nutty, sesame-peanut flavor) – both were great and not heavy at all. I also really liked that they use a full-sized hotpot instead of those tiny individual ones, makes it feel much more like a real hotpot meal. For meats: • The Certified All Natural Angus Prime Beef with fish cake and Australian lamb – lamb was tender without any gaminess, and the fish cake soaked up the broth really well. • The Certified All Natural Vintage Prime Rib Eye plus an extra Choice Rib Eye – rich marbling, super flavorful, very satisfying! We also got two appetizers: Garlic Edamame (so addictive!) and Takoyaki (crispy outside, with bits of octopus inside – best when eaten hot). The staff were really friendly and attentive. By lunchtime the place was nearly full, so there’s definitely a nice lively vibe. Overall, the ingredients were fresh, the service was great, and finishing the meal with udon noodles in the broth was the perfect ending.
Justine HuangThis place has been in Pasadena for over 10 years now. My dad and I came here and got the feast for 2. Super filling!! You get to pick an appetizer and drink, then 2 soup bases. You end with a dessert. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They help you bag up anything you are taking home. This place is family friendly or solo dining friendly too. They have deals for both. High quality meat + lots of veggies which I like.
Fang PhatthaA very nice shabu place that you can go alone and they have special menu for 1 and 2 person. It's super worth it! The set comes with house sake as well which I think is very nice and strong. The shabu is very delicious. I ordered extra side dishes but only the set will make me full. The meat is tender. They give you appropriate veggies and noodles. Lovely service. Parking lot is free, which is a plus in Pasadena.
