I've tried many different Kbbq's, mostly in OC and IE, and I gotta say this one here hit the spot! The meat was delicious, but what got me even writing a review was their spicy cucumber. Amazing! The best that I ever had! Can't stop thinking about it so much that it draws me to go back again for more. The service was incredible. She was super helpful and informative as well. Let us know they make everything there and don't buy by bulk (like the spicy cucumber). Definitely going back!

This is the place if you are hungry, have a huge appetite. The place to go if you like to sit at your table and cook your own meat. Ordering the 3 to 4 person meat menu is going to cost you about $30.00 a person not including beverages. You get salad with toppings, rice bowl, two souos to pick from, and glass noodles . Unless you made a reservation the day before it is likely you will wait about 20 minutes to get in. Service and the people working there were helpful and great. Food was also very good.

It’s not easy finding a quality Korean barbecue spot in Pasadena, but Chris’ Korean Barbecue is a rare and welcome exception. The beef brisket was tender and flavorful, with just the right amount of marbling to make each bite melt in your mouth. The marinated galbi (short ribs) was a standout—rich, savory, and perfectly seasoned. The side dishes were decent and fresh, complementing the meal well without overshadowing the main event. The service was fast and efficient, with staff checking in regularly and keeping everything running smoothly. I did street parking, which wasn’t too hard to find, especially if you arrive a bit early. The restaurant has somewhat more family vibes rather than date vibes!

It’s our first time back since the pandemic. The place was busy, all tables were occupied including outside seating. There were only 2 people taking orders but there were more than a few bringing food to the tables. Their exhaust system was pretty powerful, it was not smoky when we were there. We ordered the premium all you can eat menu which came with seafood. The shrimp and marinated spicy squid were fresh and delicious. The marinated galbi and joo mul luk galbi were out favorites. The salad and banchan were ok but the vegetable pancake was crispy and not too greasy. It was an enjoyable meal. Kudos to Justyce for her cheerful demeanor despite the hard work.
