I really recommend Justin's services. I needed some help with a few minor drywall repairs in my laundry closet in Old Town Pasadena. Since I live in a condo, the work area is pretty tight. He repaired an existing drywall patch, finished it, sanded it down, and painted it to match the surrounding ceiling. There were two wall openings from some plumbing work; in one, Justin installed drywall, taped and mudded it, sanded, primed, and painted. For the other opening (where the washer valves are), he put in a low-profile 8" × 8" snap-in access panel. The original opening was 9" × 9" and was right above the washer box with hardly any clearance, but he managed to do it beautifully. To get to these wall openings, he had to move the heavy washer/dryer combo. It wasn’t an easy task because of the cramped space in the laundry closet, but Justin handled everything so well. I texted him one morning about this job, and he got back to me right away, saying he could come by my condo within an hour for a free estimate, which he did. The estimate was quite reasonable, and he seemed like a really nice and capable handyman to consider hiring. We agreed on the price, and although it wasn’t an emergency, he repaired my laundry closet wall and ceiling on the same day. I had a can of paint and primer ready, but Justin brought all the other tools and materials he needed. Not only did he do an amazing job, but he also made sure everything was left spotless. I would hire Justin again without hesitation. It was a very positive experience, and I feel lucky to have found his services through a Google search.

Justin is local to Northwest Pasadena, he does fantastic work, he has all his own tools and materials, and his prices can't be beat. Having Justin come to your house to fix something feels like having a neighbor lending a hand, except he's experienced, skilled, and knows what he's doing! I hired him to patch holes in my plaster wall, he did it in an afternoon including painting. I was so impressed I asked him to come again to mount my television on the newly cleaned up wall. Another homerun. He just left after putting up window treatments; everything level and operating without issue. There are so many small things around the house I want to do but I don't feel confident handling it myself, or don't want to learn on the job and end up paying twice or three times to fix my mistakes. Next up: adding weatherstripping around my old timey casement windows and front door. Brass spring roll or rubber? I'll let Justin decide.

Justin came out next day to estimate the job, and then was also able to get started very quickly for us as there was a rush on our end. He had some good suggestions as well on making the paneling coverup that he put up match better with another door for us. Very professional and easy to work with!

Look no further! I never leave reviews but Justin was such a great handyman to work with and I highly recommend him to anyone. Clear communication, quick worker, fair pricing, and a kind family man. He custom fit an AC unit into a window space that needed the glass removed, and then filled the remaining area with wood. Will be hiring him for more work 🤝
