General Malice (Malice Media LLC.)We were in town for SoCal gaming expo and were within walking distance of hotel Dina about 10 minutes. We chose this place as he gave off a really nice vibe of Europe. Remind us of the outdoor cafes over there that served pastries and breakfast. I went with a classic waffle and a ham and cheese croissant My wife got the Brie Panini and enjoyed it very much. Super simple to order and with plenty of space inside and out. We definitely agree that you would enjoy eating here if you're looking for a nice relaxing environment.
ShellSpacious outdoor garden seating and limited indoor seating, there is a coffee a d pastry entrance and another to get meals. Pistachio latte was a top seller according to the server but it wasn't infused sufficiently to bring out that mild nutty flavor. We shared a brownie cake choc full of nuts, warmed, which was a nice large portion and satisfying. The cream cheese bagel does not compare to those at bagel stores and I would not get it again. Its Def a place you can sit in the garden area at to meet friends, do some work ir just chill. Chill vibe.
Candid ReviewsMy go to breakfast restaurant in Old Pasadena, California. Food and drinks are always fresh- but I’d say the coffees usually come out tasting burnt- Counter staff are usually in a hurry to attend to customers and waiters are the opposite- very slow. Wait time to receive food while seated takes for ever and usually you get meals separately as available- pastries and some drinks at time of payment and others while u wait forever at the table. Over all taste and presentation is great as well. Pastry glass shelves are usually with some sort of fruit flies flying over pastries hence I shy away from their pastries. Seating is quite scarce and tight with usually a long waiting line cutting through for those that need to order and make payment. Restroom definitely needs more frequent cleaning and an upgrade. Overall- great restaurant and location. One thing I’d say is that the menu is mainly Latin and Greek… but definitely delicious
T GSuper cute and beautiful coffee shop. Absolutely enjoyed their apple pie, I can tell it was super bad for me, It was so good!! Their Italian cappuccino was spot on, not overly sweet with good cinnamon flavor. However, the other two items we got did not taste anything as described. Their rose matcha tasted like a basic Matcha latte, and their Spanish latte tasted like a plain vanilla latte. I don’t understand what was so unique about it. I got one too many drinks, thinking they were going to be amazing art as shown in owner photos. The decor was very beautiful and true to its name, the service was also very quick and friendly. I also like that they gave you the option between light and dark roast.
CC Daniel ChenI stopped by Urth Caffe Pasadena and honestly had a really nice time. The vibe there is super chill and cozy, but still lively enough that it feels fun to hang out. It’s the kind of place where you can relax, chat, or just enjoy your drink without feeling rushed. I’m already a fan of their coffee, and this time I tried the Spanish Latte. It smelled amazing right away, and the taste was just as good—smooth, slightly sweet, and really comforting. Definitely a solid choice if you’re not sure what to order. One thing I appreciated a lot was the parking. There’s a lot in the back, and it was easy to find a spot, which is sometimes hard for popular cafés. I also tried the Matcha Tiramisu, and that was a pleasant surprise. It’s an interesting way on a classic dessert, with a nice matcha flavor that isn’t too strong but still stands out. Overall, it was a great visit, and I’d totally come back again for the drinks, desserts, and laid-back atmosphere.
