they have an excellent selection of speciality beans for pourovers. milk brew was delicious and much better than a standard iced latte. i didn’t get espresso but they do a turbo shot to properly extract the nuanced notes in their light roast. these guys know what they’re doing super airy and beautifully natural lit space in a historical building owners are super nice, passionate coffee people that are creating a wonderful space for their community! will be coming back again and again!

I got there signature cold brew in banana milk as recommended by barista and OMG it blew my mind. It tasted like a sweet banana bread with a strong, chocolatey coffee underneath. If you like semi sweet tastes and strong coffee, COME HERE! I am usually not a cold brew drinker but I took a leap and I hate that I am not in the pasadena area to get this everyday. This place is worth the drive. Vibes are immaculate. The cafe looks a bit empty but in a way that I cant wait to see how the owner fills it. Lots of tables, outlets and the music is low-fi so if you leave your headphones at home, no worries.

Stopped by Milk Brew for breakfast and was surprised by their iced latte with Banana milk. Surprisingly good. the ambiance is clean, bright and service was great.

Got pretty astonished by how huge the space was, looking like a sizable office space converted into a minimalistic coffee shop. The signature drinks they offered were literally what they called out in their name. It’s apparently a Japanese coffee-making technique by brewing the coffee directly with milk instead of water. As the process took quite plenty of time, it let the coffee taste stayed strong yet smooth. What made it fun was they offered different options of milk including corn and banana! Thanks to the barista who warned me that the banana milk came sweet within the default mode so I opted for no extra syrup. When you went for other milk, you typically would want to add the housemade syrup. I felt it was right balance between being creamy yet still allowed the coffee flavor leading.
